At BRCSI, we believe that societal and environmental challenges require innovative solutions. Therefore, creative thinking, invention and design are core elements of our organization. Fundamental to our mission at the Lab is the idea that the intersection of art and science galvanize a new way of thinking about how to approach complex problems. Our modus operandi encourages holistic and multi-perspective thinking in the development of new theoretical and concrete approaches to old and new problems. Areas of research include but are not limited to urban and rural planning to maximize social and environmental harmony and the generation of new ideas to develop existing and new renewable energy and water systems. One of our main areas of focus is the development of integrated and efficient systems to maximize sustainability, taking into account cost, equitable access and critical resource conservation.
