Welcome to the BRCSI department of conservation and natural resource management. Our research in this area focuses mostly on land stewardship and the maintenance of existing critical ecosystems. Our environment serves as both essential wild lands that need to be protected while simultaneously utilized for natural resources essential to agriculture, fresh water and industrial consumption by humans. The careful balance between protecting wild lands and cultivating resources from the land in a sustainable manner is where we concentrate our studies.
